Palliative Care Delivered Wherever You Are

In the continuation of our series all about us, we bring you a note about the importance of geography.

In general, traditional palliative care is provided in a hospital or clinical setting, i.e. you need to be a patient of a particular hospital or clinic to receive it, extra i.e. you need to live within a specific area to be a patient of that hospital or clinic. On top of this, most palliaitve care programs are in larger urban areas, meaning those in suburbs or living hours outside of cities don’t have access to a local program.

Which brings us to our point. We made our service accessible via telehealth on purpose, so that anyone in the U.S. can access it from whatever place they call home. If you have friends or family who want palliative care, but don’t have a place to go, please consider poinitng them in our direction, we promise to be gentle 🧡
