Breast Cancer Awareness Month
A quick shout out and moment of love for people living with breast cancer of any stage, people taking care of someone with breast cancer, people living in remission from breast cancer, and people who have lost someone due to breast cancer.
Also want to do an extra shot of love for any men living with breast cancer who might be feeling a little more alone in their experience. Illness is already hard enough to grapple with and we don’t want to add any shame or suffering to it.
Ok, now that we’ve done the love portion; next up: check yourself. And we mean that in the physical sense. You will have a much better idea of what’s going on in your body if it’s not a foreign landscape and you’ll probably find anomolies that needs attention much sooner if you have a habit of checking in with your parts to make sure everything is feeling the way it usually does. Trust us, we know it’s scary when you find something out of the ordinary and know you need to get a doctor’s opinion, but we also know that it’s easier to move forward with a plan once you know what’s going on, than to live in a state of limbo.
