LGBTQIA+ community

Imagine you live a life where discrimination is felt on the regular, (a very easy exercise for many we assume).

Now imagine you’re living in a residential care facility where much of your choice has been removed, yet the discrimination has not and now it’s in smaller setting. How would that feel? Where would you go to feel safe?

This is a real worry for many LBGTQIA+ elders and we’ll be discussing this, as well as the concept of chosen family, additional directives you can set in place for your care, and other resources for LGBTQIA+ community members and their caregivers this Friday at 10am PT.
