It’s ok to say no to treatment

BIG, and very IMPORTANT point: just because someone decides they don’t want to start or continue treatment, that does not mean they are choosing death.

It’s ok to say no to treatment, just as it’s ok to say yes to treatment. There are options and shades of gray and everyone should feel that they have the freedom to pick what is best for them depending on where they are in their life, their disease trajectory, lots of communication and their preferences.
