Living with Loss and Grief

Grief is more common than most people think. It follows loss of any kind, and often precedes the loss, as anticipatory grief. These difficult emotions can be felt by anyone in the care circle: patient, caregiver, friend, or family member. As a fundamental human process, grief is unavoidable. As such, it pays to embrace grief rather than to run away from it, and that requires patience, time, and lots of support.

Mettle Health counselors are here to offer that support and help you understand grief so you can understand yourself a little better.
