One of the things we like to do at Mettle Health is pull back the curtain a bit on the healthcare system, Wizard of Oz style. There are a lot of things that are standard within healthcare, but not-so-standard outside of it, and it makes for both educational, and sometimes humorous, fodder. Today we’re telling you about ICD-10 codes, a set of codes used in healthcare to track health care statistics, mortality statistics as well as billing.

There are about 68,000 billing codes (seriously) and we have compiled some of the best for your enjoyment. We’re not sure which is our favorite, the ducks 🦆…or the water skis…
