Monday Kitteh Takeover!
It’s a Monday Kitteh Takeover!
Hallo hoomans of Instagram, extended purr family member Leo here to talk about the power of the word “no”. I say “no” to so many things it’s hard to keep track: touch mah tummy? No. Pick meh up? Nah. Wear a silly sweatah? No thanks. Have another kitteh over to mah house? Nope. I realize I’m much more of a purrmudgeon than the average hooman, but the power of “no" can still be helpful in small doses and I encourage yu to use it when yu need to make space for yurself.
Saying no allows yu to to chooze where yu put yur time and energy, and can help establish gud boundaries. When it comes to illness, saying no can be even more important to protect yurself and what’s important to yu. Yes, some feelings can be hurt along the way, but if yu frame it as honoring yurself, that’s hard to argue with.
What have yu have recently said “no” to that felt rully good? I’m all ears🐱
