Meditation and Mindfulness Offerings

Meditation calms our minds and opens our hearts. It can reduce stress, promote relaxation and healing, and bring us into deep connection with ourselves, others, and our world.

 

Schedule of Classes

Weekly meditation sessions with Radhule and Michael are held over Zoom and are free and open to anyone who wants to join! Just enter the Zoom meeting code at the time of the class and you’ll be let into the group.


Sunday Mornings: 10-11:15am PT

Radhule introduces mindfulness, compassion, and awareness practices, and Michael introduces Earth Connection Practices. Michael, who has taught self-care for caregivers for many years, will give a talk each Sunday related to healing and resilience.

Monday Nights: 7:15-8:30pm PT

Radhule teaches how we can practice mindfulness and compassion grounded in the field of spacious, knowing and benevolent awareness. In this field of non-duality that is within and around us, we can deepen our mindfulness practice effortlessly.

Tuesday Mornings: 10-11am PT

Radhule teaches effortless mindfulness. Sometimes, she is accompanied by concert pianist and composer, Heena Yoon PhD, for mindfulness and music.

Radhule leads these lightly guided meditations in the early mornings. This half-hour of mindfulness meditation before your day begins will help you to be present, relaxed, and engaged in your life.

Michael Kearney, MD

Radhule Weininger, Ph.D.

 
 

Michael Kearney has over 40 experience of working in palliative care and has worked with two pioneers in the field, Dame Cicely Saunders and Professor Balfour Mount. He is Medical Director of the Palliative Care Consultation Service at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. He is the author of three books: The Nest in The Stream: Lessons from Nature on Being with Pain, Mortally Wounded: Stories of Soul Pain, Death, and Healing and A Place of Healing: Working with Nature and Soul at the End of Life.

Radhule Weininger, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist in private practice, founder of the non-profit Mindful Heart Programs, and teacher of deep mindfulness and compassion practices and Buddhist psychology. She is the author of two books: Heartwork: The Path of Self-Compassion and Heart Medicine: How to Stop Painful Patterns and Find Freedom and Peace-at Last. Radhule is faculty at Pacifica Graduate School and teaches about self-care and resilience to caregivers locally and internationally for over twenty years.
