Palliative care for everyone in the circle of care

As with much of traditional healthcare the patient is the person being treated, and while the majority of clinicians have the best intentions of addressing and helping the other people in the care circle, they aren’t always able to do so due to time and resource restraints.

We wanted to do away with that norm and that’s why we offer caregivers, family and friends the same services we offer to patients. People acting as caregivers also have informational, emotional and logistical needs and many times, they are in the position of making medical decisions for another person and need guidance, support and expectation setting. And if you’re taking care of someone at the end of their life, the needs continue through grief and finding yourself after caregiver duties are no longer needed.

If you are someone taking care of another person or someone who has recently lost a person you were caring for, we’re here to help; reach out any time to find out how we can support you.
