Making treatment decisions when living with an advanced illness may sound doable on paper, but can get emotional very quickly due to our relationships with others, with ourselves, and with being alive.

The “right answer” is never the same for everyone and is a very personal choice. There are trade-offs in all directions, and each needs to be looked at from multiple angles. What are we wiling to live with? And what are we not willing to live without? How much will you need to advocate for yourself - or someone you’re caring for- and what clinical professionals can help you navigate all these moving pieces?
