A beautiful, and raw, piece from Dr. Bonnie Chen on her newfound understanding of what it is to be a patient after her own experience with her son.

We feel quite strongly that there is much to be done to build a bridge of understanding between clinicians and the patients and caregivers they care for, and this is exactly that.
